Joint Venture...

Today I just solidified a deal with my friend (and sponsor) to split the cost of an advertising campaign for our gifting sites. We are buying an ad in USA Today!

I'm really excited about this!! And its not as expensive as you might think. The total cost is $240 to run an ad and you get 4 lines of text....This could be real interesting if we play our cards right!

You might be wondering how we be sure that the traffic from the ad will be split evenly...
Easy. We are going to print 1 URL in the ad that we will add a link rotator to. This guarantees that each of us will get the same amount of traffic from the ad, its all automatic.

If you are interested in cash gifting programs but have some questions about them, feel free sign up for my FREE 7 day report...It is for informational purposes only and is free of SPAM and viruses (and all of that other bad stuff).

Low Key day...

As I wait for my first solo ad to run, things are pretty low key. I'm posting 10-15 free ads per day and seeing some opt ins and a few call back requests. Cash Gifting, just like most other programs is a game of numbers, as long as I keep getting leads in to my site, the numbers will make money in the long term. Although I must say I'm really excited to see what happens on Friday when my solo ad runs...

Got my fingers crossed as I keep getting the word out!

Solo Ads

OK, So, As I stated in a post earlier this week, I had received my first Cash Gift!!! With a little help from a more experienced friend, I have decided to place a Solo ad.

In case you don't already know, a Solo Ad is just what it sounds like. This type of ad is actually a solo mailing sent to the list of subscribers of the ezine. In other words, they go out on their own. When you buy a solo ad, your ad with your subject line is the only thing the reader sees. So basically you are renting a mailing list.

Solo ads (I've heard) are a very good way to promote Gifting Programs, and they are relatively reasonably priced. I am using a very competitive site and as a paying member ($10/mo) I get solo ads for $65 or less (I actually bought 2 at once for $115). This gets your email ad in front of about 27K people that are looking for money making opportunities. The average response seems to be 15 Opt ins per ad, with at least one person joining....Not bad for $65.

I am hoping I get similar....or better....results. The only thing I have an issue with is that with the site being so competitive, your ad won't able to be scheduled right away. I set my ad up on Friday, and It can't be released until May 2nd.

But hopefully it will be worth the wait.

A piece of advice: Trust yourself....

OK so after spending some money on a professional copywriter to get some "killer" ads, I'm noticing my responses declining.

The lesson for today is TRUST YOURSELF!!

I pride myself on writing ads that are different. They may not (OK they ARE not) written like pieces of advertising "GOLD" but they DO stand out because they are different from the million other ads out there that are written well, but just blend it with all the other "white noise"

So today I learned to trust myself and do my own copy writing, even though it takes me FOREVER since I am a terrible creative writer....

May not work for everyone, but I think it will serve me better in the long run to just build on what writing skills I have.

Holy Quick Turn Around Batman!!!

So in just a few hours, I had a polished ad ready to post. I have decided to use it as is for a solo ad and it was very easy to make variations for craigslist.

I'm about to place my first solo ad as well, I have it on good authority, that conversion rates from solo ads for cash gifting are high and make it worth the cost (around $80 to get to @ 27K people).

Gonna do what I can do keep the momentum going!!!!

Like a good entrepreneur...

I have decided to use some of my first cash gift to improve my marketing strategies. On recommendation of my sponser (who is also a friend) I had a professional ad marketer write an ad for me to use on craigslist. I have to say, it was a STEAL at $25 for @ a 50 word ad. I couldn't have come up with such a good ad if I had WEEKS to!!!!

We'll I guess I'll see how it works, with any luck, my opt in and call back numbers will go up!
After a few days of running this new ad, I'll report how its doing.

Well, no rest for the weary!
Back to work!

All I can say is WOW!!!

Its been a VERY exciting day!!!! I've only been involved in cash gifting for about 2 weeks and I had my first team member join today!!!! TOCS has as an online back office that lets you know the status of your leads at any given time. I just got notification that my new team member has sent out my gift and I even have the tracking number for it!!!

It certainly brightens up your day to know that you have an envelope for CASH coming tomorrow!

WOOO HOOOOOOO!!!!!!

Opt In's and Call Backs.....

So things seem to be steadily getting better and better everyday with my cash gifting endeavor, but I have done little more then post free ads today, so I figured I'd quickly touch on the steps that take a lead from responding to a marketing effort to joining your team.

Once someone has shown interest and you direct them to your "affiliate" site they are given a brief overview of the program and prompted to Opt in to the program. This just asks for a name, email and phone number...to confirm your lead's interest and allow TOCS to send info about the program to them via email.

This gives your lead access to a full tour of the program which is VERY detailed. Once they have finished the tour, they are prompted to request a call back.

A call back is a one on one phone call with a "team leader" who is someone that is an expert on the program and can answer any questions your lead has. This is a no pressure situation and the Team lead does NOT push joining the program on you. They simply answer questions.

Any one that signs up, has to do a call back, since only the team leader can give your lead instructions on how to join and where to go to do it.

Well, Thats about all there is to say about opt ins and call backs.

Quick entry for today...

Well, with the long entry I posted yesterday, I figured a short one would be appropriate today. Just kind of a personal status check...

I am doing a lot of free classified ad posting and other free forms of marketing, and I seem to be getting a handful of responses everyday, which is OK, but not great...like most every marketing campaign, its all about numbers. I think I'm ready to start some paid ads running with the hopes of bringing up my daily averages. A friend of mine that does cash gifting as well is going to to "half-zies" on a 4 line USA Today ad with me and we will put our respective URL's in a link rotator so we both get equal traffic from the ad....I'm hoping it will be worth the money.

Anyways I'll keep the blog updates with results from my different strategies.

BTW, If you are interested in seeing the particular program I'm involved with, it is call The Overnight Cash System.

Have a Great Weekend!!

What exactly IS a Gifting Program?

Ok, I figured that a good place to start is to explain exactly what a gifting program is and the basics of how it works.

The essence of gifting program is that you must be willing to give in order to receive. The beauty is that you give once, and then receive forever.

Here it s a quick overview of how the program works....it is a bit more complex then this, but I'll give you the "quick and dirty" just to give you an idea. Once you decide to join, to qualify to receive gifts, you must do 3 things.
  1. Give a gift,
  2. complete the application process (this basically confirming that you gave your gift and filling out the paperwork to set up your profile).

At this point you are given a customized website and all you do is drive people to it. The website gives them the full tour, the gifting program staff fields all the questions, and when the first person joins, you have fulfilled the 3rd requirement because your 1st person goes to your sponsor. This means you are qualified and from that point on, anyone you drive to your site and ends up joining will be required to mail you (via overnight courier like UPS or FedEx) CASH!!!

Now, there is one more thing that I feel is the most incredible part of this program. If you only get 2 people to join (1 for your sponsor for you to qualify, and one person under you) there is the potential to get paid forever just on that one person. Now, you can't just get one person under you and stop and still expect to make money long term, but conceptually it works, let me explain...

Everyone that comes in under you is REQUIRED to give you their first person. Sorry if this is confusing, its hard to explain...they do a better job of explaining it on the site.....but lets look at an example...

You have broken away from your sponsor (qualified) and you then get your buddy, Mike join. He gives you a gift and gets Tom to join.

YOU get Tom and Mike breaks away from you.

So You get Tom - he gives you a gift and you get Tom's first person (Tom then breaks away from you), that gives you a gift and their first person...and so on and so on forever.

This is all from personally recruiting only one person under you. You obviously can't just stop at 1 person under you, but there is potential to make money off of every person that joins under you over the long term.

I hope that last bit makes sense, it is what REALLY got me excited about the program!

Hope you found this helpful.

Welcome!!!

Hi,
Thanks for checking out my blog. I am fairly new to gifting programs, and although I've heard about them several times before, I haven't decided to get involved in a cash gifting opportunity until just recently. Not before doing my due diligence, of course.

I am "putting my all" into this opportunity and I plan on using this blog as a "journal" of my experiences, with the hopes that maybe what I post will help inform others as to what they might be able to expect from one of these programs.

Seeing as how this is my first post, I'll make it short.

If you'd like, go ahead and take a look at the cash gifting program I'm using.
